This objective of this site was to create a mock event website. My focus was to create a Heavy Metal fundraiser type event to promote and start conversation about mental health. I choose Heavy Metal for the genre for a few reasons; it is my personal favorite genre, my area has a large metal fan base that is often ignored for more mainstream music.
This is a special project to me as i have delt with mental illness and the music I have surrounded myself with was so important to confront and work though those emotions.
